The Challenge
The Fredericksburg Nationals reached out to Metro Nova Creative for a set of Thank You cards that could be used throughout their season. The team wanted multiple designs that fit a variety of situations — whether thanking sponsors, staff, or fans. The challenge was to make the designs feel cohesive, energetic, and true to the FredNats brand while ensuring every print detail reflected their professional image.
Our Approach
At Metro Nova Creative, we believe great design doesn’t end on the screen — it continues through every detail of the final product. We worked closely with the FredNats team to develop a suite of designs that balanced team spirit with versatility.
Each card design featured a different personality:
- A fun, colorful version featuring the team mascot for fan and youth outreach
- A bold “Thank You” design highlighting the iconic Fredericksburg skyline
- A clean version using the classic FredNats logo for formal notes and partner communication
But our work didn’t stop there.
We guided the team through the often-overwhelming print process — explaining paper weights, finishes, and coating options to ensure the cards looked and felt just right. Together, we selected a durable stock with a smooth matte finish to give the cards a premium, tactile feel that still worked well for writing messages inside.
Even down to the envelopes, we made sure every detail aligned. We helped the FredNats choose high-quality matching envelopes in the right size and color tone, ensuring a polished, professional presentation for every recipient.
The Results
The final set of printed cards gives the Fredericksburg Nationals a variety of branded options to use throughout the year. Each design feels unique but consistent, giving the team the flexibility to match the right card to the right message.
