The Project
At Metro Nova Creative, we had the privilege of collaborating with FAM to create a logo and brand identity that would visually encapsulate the museum’s mission and rich cultural heritage. Logo Design
The logo we crafted for FAM is both bold and meaningful, designed to reflect the museum’s deep connection to the region’s history while standing out as a modern, memorable emblem. The wavy lines in the logo represent the river that runs through Fredericksburg, symbolizing both the physical flow of the water and the metaphorical flow of history and culture that the museum works to preserve. By incorporating the iconic St. George’s steeple into the “A” of our logo design, we aim to honor the city’s landmarks and bring them together under the museum’s mission.
In terms of typography, we selected a bold sans-serif font for the logotype. This choice ensures clarity and readability, even from a distance, making the logo versatile for everything from business cards to large-scale event signage.
